It consists of six wooden pillars: three are threaded step-like pillars, and three are smooth, evenly graded pillars. Each step-like pillar has three different colored pentagon-shaped wooden screws in blue, yellow, and red.
Features and Uses:
Fine Motor Skill Development: Helps children develop hand-eye coordination, fine motor skills, and grip strength through twisting the wooden screws.
Color and Shape Recognition: The blue, yellow, and red screws help children learn color classification, while the pentagon shape of the screws aids in geometric shape recognition.
Hand Strength and Endurance: The twisting action of the screws helps strengthen hand muscles, promoting the development of wrist and finger muscles.
Spatial Awareness and Sorting Skills: Encourages children to twist different screws into the corresponding pillars, fostering spatial awareness and sorting abilities.
Focus and Patience: The activity of twisting the screws requires concentration and patience, helping to improve sustained attention in children.
This tool is suitable for children aged 2–4 years and aligns with the Montessori philosophy, supporting the development of fine motor skills, cognitive abilities, and problem-solving through hands-on practice.
